Thank you for your patience during the selection process. We had an overwhelming response to this last call for submissions and we're happy to inform you that "Patricide," "Instructions for Staying Out All Night" and "Father" have all been selected to be included in the upcoming Milk Money, Volume Eight: When Jeff Goldblum Speaks, We Listen.
They took three poems and they are a both a print and an online publication so that bumps up my print pubs for the NEA tracking thing I have going on in the sidebar. I'm happy.
I also submitted 3 new poems to the Rattle poetry prize. They judge pretty quickly so those poems will be tied up until Sept. 15. I have nothing else out there right now because it's all been taken!
I'll be submitting to the Naugatuck River Review's Narrative Poetry Contest if I can scrounge together some other narrative pieces I haven't submitted yet by Sept. 1.
Blowing kisses to your pieces waiting patiently in the slush piles!

How is the program going so far this year?
I start my first poetry class at WriterHouse today, and I am nervous!
My poem you helped edit is going to be workshopped! Thanks for all your help.
Still hope to catch you in the fall reading series! Is that scheduled yet?
Keep up the good work!
